The PREP School of McKinney is proudly owned by Clay and Sarah Yonts, who acquired the school in 2024. With over 20 years of combined teaching experience, they bring a strong foundation of educational expertise, thoughtful leadership, and a deep commitment to early childhood development.
Since taking ownership, their focus has been on honoring the school’s established legacy while continuing to elevate the overall experience for students, families, and staff. Their vision centers on providing exceptional early education in a nurturing, engaging, and academically enriching environment, while remaining actively connected to the McKinney community.
Conveniently located at the southwest corner of 380 and Lake Forest, across from Baylor Scott & White Hospital, The PREP School of McKinney serves children ages 6 weeks through 12 years old.

The PREP was hands down the best “parenting” decision we made early on. Knowing how well Graham was cared for and loved on allowed me to transition back to work with ease.
