The PREP School of South Meadows is an innovative private preschool focused on providing the highest level of early childhood education, in a safe and secure environment that nurtures each child’s individual needs. From our contemporary building design to our excellence in educators and advanced curriculum, not a single detail has been overlooked. We are proud to be Nevada’s first PREP School and excited to bring private preschool to the South Meadows community!
At The PREP we provide a preschool experience with exceptional enrichment classrooms filled with opportunities to help take learning to the next level. These spaces are designed to foster the young child’s curiosity about the world around them. Our classes utilize emergent learning techniques to expand on children’s current knowledge and their individual interests. At The PREP we partner with parents to encourage and equip each child to excel in their early education which sets them up for success in elementary school.
The PREP is conveniently located in the South Meadows area with easy access to 395 and the Reno/Sparks South East Connector and tucked away on the corner of Double R Blvd and Sandhill Road.

The PREP School is hands down the best preschool in the area! Our son started there when he was about two years old and will soon be 4. My husband and I cannot thank the staff enough for the excellent care that they continue to provide to our son. The teachers are wonderful. They are very thoughtful and compassionate and take care of our child as if he was their own. From top to bottom, the staff is very approachable and responsive, constantly doing their best to help us in any way they can! The facility is new, spacious, secure, and clean… The staff is always creating remarkable learning that our son can’t wait to tell us about. Just as importantly, the staff truly make us feel like family. They always make our family feel welcome at pick up and drop off. Our son LOVES it there, and we love knowing that our child is being cared for and taught by excellent teachers at a terrific center. We highly recommend this preschool as a fantastic place for your child to develop.

Our family is incredibly happy at The PREP. Our daughter is now 3.5 and has been there since she’s 18mos. Because she started daycare in 2021 after having stayed home with us during the peak of COVID, I was nervous to see how she would adjust to a more social environment. She has absolutely flourished under the care of many loving and attentive teachers at The PREP. Now in preschool, she is proficiently writing her name and recognizing letters and numbers and even “reads” from memory or makes up her own stories based on pictures, things I didn’t expect to start happening until Kindergarten. Most importantly, she is a loving and kind friend to her classmates and is so happy when we pick her up from school every day. Andrea’s professionalism as an owner translates throughout the campus. Teachers are engaged and respectful to each other and to the children. If ever we have any concerns, which are very few and far between, they are promptly addressed in an appropriate way….I know our kids will be more than prepared when it comes time for them to transition into school because of the care they have received under Andrea’s guidance. Our four children attend The PREP and I don’t know where to begin to express how grateful we are to the entire staff and how happy we have been with the experience since day one (a year and a half ago). The entire team is such a wonderful group of people, led by Andrea, Ms. Jackson, and Cassidy, who have become like a second family to us. As our children have transitioned from the Infant room to Pre-Kindergarten we have been impressed with how consistently The PREP has delivered on their mission of providing our children an environment to grow socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. Simply put, the PREP has done so much more than taught our children a curriculum; they have truly partnered with us and gotten to know and love our children as individuals. Going in, we knew education and safety standards at The PREP are second to none; but what truly has stood out over any other childcare center we have been a part of is the staff’s genuine love and dedication towards their jobs and our children. We have developed very strong relationships with many staff members and are constantly reassured of our decision daily - as our children love going to daycare every day and have so many positive stories to tell us at the end of the day.
